Target - it’s every mother’s true addiction. You walk in that place for a bottle of Tide and paper towels, and you walk out with $100’s worth of home, kitchen, clothing and beauty items. Well, if you are like myself and any other mom I have ever come across. I literally have to stay away from that place. Lucky for me, it’s super annoying to wait in traffic for 30 minutes to get to my neighborhood Target (which is less than 4 miles by the way). Plus, the maze of a parking garage is just ridiculous (gotta love LA!).
You would think that would help me steer clear. But, since having a child, I now do 99.9% of my shopping online, to avoid the said scenario above. So I knew I was in major trouble when Target announced their “Made to Matter” collective, and that it was going to be readily available online starting now!
“Made to Matter” is a first-of-its-kind collection that brings together 17 leading natural, organic and sustainable brands to introduce new products and make them more accessible to consumers.
Spanning Target’s Baby, Beauty and Personal Care, Grocery, Healthcare and Household product categories, Made to Matter brands include Annie’s Homegrown, Burt’s Bees, Chobani, Clif Bar & Company, Ella’s Kitchen, EVOL, Horizon Organic, Hyland’s, Kashi, Method, Plum Organics, Seventh Generation, SheaMoisture, Target’s Simply Balanced, Vita Coco, Yes To and Zarbee’s Naturals.
There will be more than 120 new and limited-time exclusive Made to Matter products. Products will be available throughout the store, and on Target.com and Target’s mobile app.
Not only do products like this truly matter to me, because of my family, but I am happy to see major corporations finally jumping on board with healthy, sustainable living (and in an affordable manner!).
Also to mention, one of my all time favorites The Honest Company just announced they are coming to Target on June 15th. I may have many compulsive buying moments ahead of me, but knowing my family has better options of living a healthier lifestyle through Target makes me feel confident in the growth of mass American retail companies.
