Friday Favorties

This weeks roundup is below! I have found some new lotions and makeup that I love for mommas, as well as a great transitional outfit for fall. It's super easy and comfy, which is all moms really need when it comes to clothes!

Hourglass N-28 Lip Treatment ($42) and Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette ($58) : Last night I attended the opening of the new Hourglass Flagship store in Venice, CA with my good friends/beauty bloggers Angela Lanter and Saarah Samadani. We got to sample their new products, including the 2 here and they are AMAZE!! Granted, they aren't the cheapest makeup products out there, but you truly get what you pay for with Hourglass. The lip treatment is so nice, and is going to be a lifesaver for the coming winter/dry months. The Ambient palette has been all the rage lately on the beauty blogs I've been reading and it does not disappoint. The colors are incredible and leave you with a perfect highlighting and contouring glow! Its a must.

Bliss Love Handler ($36) : Ya'll this stuff, amazing! After having a baby, the midsection is quite the tough one. Heck, even before having a baby it can be! A good girlfriend of mine turned me on to this stuff and I have become obsessed. Super easy to use, and hello to a tighter and more toned midsection!

Kai Body Butter ($52) : BY FAR THE BEST SMELLING LOTION TO EVER EXIST! Ever! I LOVE anything by Kai so I should have known better than to let my nose go near this tube of glory.

So if you're anything like me, the thought of wearing a "Canadian tuxedo" doesn't sound fashionable or cute. But with denim being all the rage this fall, and since my husband and I attending the People Magazine Denim Style event last night (check out the blog on Monday for more on this!), I've been in the mood for a denim on denim ensemble. Say what you want about the Canadian tuxedo, but I'm a believer! This is now my go to mom uniform. There is nothing more comfy than jeans and a chambray shirt! These Rag & Bone Dre jeans are the best in terms of comfort. I live in them. If you want a print version chambray, this one from Anthropologie is super cute.  Pair it with something fun like a fedora and a fringe purse, and you are good to go. I opted for sandals as its still quite warm here in LA, but as it gets cooler I will be wearing this outfit with my favorite Rag & Bone booties.

What are some of your favorite comfy ensembles? Happy Friday!
