Friday Favorites

It's officially Memorial Day Weekend. I love Memorial Day Weekend, not only for the BBQ's and pool days, but to remember the wonderful men and women who serve this great country and give us the freedom the live life...and write blogs. :)

Today I'm kicking off my very first Friday Favorites! Here are my top favorites of the week:

FOR BABY

California Baby Calendula Cream: Lately, this cream has worked wonders with Camden’s neck rashes from teething. Smells great, all natural.

VTech Sit To Stand Walker: We are in that in between stage where Camden is sitting but wants to pull up. This walker helps with both. He loves to play sitting down, and then can use the handle to pull up.

Tic Tac Toe Socks: These socks are very durable for romping around, and also compliment his clothes with their oh so adorable animal styles. I bought four pairs (dog, owl, monkey, panda) and can’t love them enough.

FOR MOM

Laura Mercier Primer: I have used this primer for the past couple of months and think it’s a must for summer. It is fresh, light, gives you an amazing illuminating pearly glow, and keeps your makeup in place all day! You can use alone with just concealer for a more natural effect. I do this a lot during the day and it feels nice to let my skin breathe.

Glam Glow: I got this as a Christmas gift and have really seen a difference in my skin the past 4 months. I use it once a week, and a little bit goes a long way. Not only is my skin super soft after, but the look of fine lines, blemishes, discolorations and pigmentation issues are vastly diminished. I have a sample of their tingling mask and will try that next.

Maybelline “Make Me Pink”: This has been my go to lip color lately. It’s a nice pale pinky color with a hint of lavender. Super creamy, great alone or with a gloss!

FOR HOME

Dyptique Tubereuse: Confession, I am a candleholic! Once the sun sets every candle in my house is lit. The other day I ran out of my favorite candle of all time, Cote Bastide Fleur D’Oranger, I frantically searched my house and found an unopened Dyptique candle in Tubereuse. I am so glad I found it because this candle smells AMAZING! It’s got a creamy white floral scent to it, without being overwhelmingly perfumey. Reminds me of gardenia but more exotic. I think I will start switching between these two moving forward.

Nesting Place: My husband and I are prepping to put our house on the market. I needed some advice/tips on how to get a “baby lived” home ready to sell. The Nesting Place offers so many realistic tips for the lived in home. Nothing too pretentious or expensive, the tips are practicality to the bone.

Le Creuset French Oven: I’ve been roasting a lot of chicken lately (thank you Ina Garten!) but needed to find a good cast iron dish for a proper roast. The Le Creuset French Oven does not disappoint. The oval shape makes fitting chicken and sides a breeze. I swear there is some kind of magic to how this thing holds heat because the chicken always comes out golden brown and extremely juicy on the inside.  Martha Stewart has a similar version.

Hope you have a wonderful and safe Memorial Day Weekend!
