114: How She Built the BossBabe Empire — with Natalie Ellis

If you’re a fan of inspiring female entrepreneurs, today’s podcast guest is your cup of tea.

Natalie Ellis has been at the forefront of the BossBabe movement that’s taken over Instagram and Facebook (and now the podcast world, too). In fact, there’s a good chance you’ve seen (and reposted) the motivating quotes her team creates on a daily basis to your own Instagram or Facebook profile.

Natalie is a serial entrepreneur who at just 26 years old has successfully scaled multiple businesses across a variety of industries. But, even more impressively, her BossBabe company mission is to help other women get out of places where they feel stuck and teach them how to empower themselves to build freedom through entrepreneurship.

Natalie and I talked all things business ownership, from how she scaled her monthly recurring revenue up to $80k in one month (hint: it’s all about listening to your customer), to the lonely side of entrepreneurship.

She also sheds light on how important it is for business owners to pick a core focus and stick to it. Consistency is king (or, we should say ‘queen’ in this case). As Natalie puts it, “I see a lot of people trying to do all things at once and then wonder why they aren’t getting traction. (Strict focus) has been a key ingredient of our success.”

We also got into the nitty gritty of what’s worked for the BossBabe team in terms of their marketing strategy, content calendar and more.
