125: The Key to Living Courageously and Creatively — Alyssa Rosenheck
Do you wish you could figure out how to pursue more than one of your passions? Does it seem impossible sometimes to create a successful career in more than one field? Or, are you someone who has experienced serious hardships in your life? If any of these ring true for you, you’re going to fall in love with my guest’s story today.
Alyssa Rosenheck is an internationally renowned interiors and architectural photographer, stylist, author, speaker, and lifestyle expert. Wow, if that’s not serious resume and life goals, I don’t know what is. On top of all of those accomplishments, she’s also a cancer survivor, too. This woman is absolutely amazing and a true inspiration.
Known for her crisp and intentional style, Alyssa has carved a space for herself in both the photography and interiors world by pioneering a new business model that elevates her clients’ businesses as well as her own. As the founder of “The New Southern” movement and author of The New Southern (out as a fall lead title 2020 via Abrams), Alyssa’s mission is to inspire others to lean into their creativity and live in their light, by highlighting those in and from the South creating work that unites, inspires, and empowers.
Aside from the book and her blog, Alyssa’s work appears in the world’s leading publications that I’m sure you’ve read a time or two, like Architectural Digest, Elle Décor, Domino, People Magazine, Real Simple, Cosmopolitan, Allure, Country Living, Traditional Home, HGTV Magazine, and Luxe Interiors + Design. #Goals!
You won’t want to miss how Alyssa went from a consuming corporate career, to beating cancer, to creating a booming photography and interior design business.
In this episode, you’ll hear:
How a demanding corporate job and a serious diagnosis allowed Alyssa to see a new way of doing business.
What living courageously and in her light means to Alyssa, and what it might mean for you, too.
How to begin living a new way of life, and connect more deeply with others (and how it’s possible for you to do this, too).
What led Alyssa to discover that creativity is a force for unity and purpose.
How to lean whole-heartedly into your creativity as an online business owner.
