Friday Favorites

Below is a list of this week's favorite items for baby, mommy and home! Enjoy, and happy Friday!

Coconut Oil: I have started adding good fats into Camden’s diet. One of the ways I am doing this is steaming his veggies with coconut oil. He loves the flavor, and I know he’s gaining amazing benefits. No only is it great to ingest, but I also put it on his skin for rashing or dryness issues. Coconut is a superfood and one of the most naturally healing fruits on the planet. Check out these amazing 101 uses of coconut oil from one of my favorite bloggers, Wellness Mama.

SwimWays Float Canopy: We used this over Memorial Day Weekend and it works great. Super safe! Camden was able to float in it with just a bathing suit on, with me assisting him (no extra floatees needed). He was feeling free and happy! The canopy shades away the sun, which is another wonderful perk.

BabyGanics Thick n Kleen: I’m loving these wipes! They are super durable, great for sensitive skin, free of parabens and chlorine. They are super thick, and a great price!

Rag & Bone Skinny Distressed Jeans: I love an amazing pair of jeans. When it comes to Rag & Bone and their jeans, there really is no one better in my opinion. Rag & Bone jeans are beyond soft, and amazingly stretchy. Not too stretchy to where they are falling off of you by the end of the day, but just enough stretch to give you the most comfortable jeans you will ever sink into (and if you are a new momma like me, stretch is our best friend!)  I’ve never seen a pair of Rag & Bone jeans that didn’t look like they were made for the person who was wearing them. I love this blush color for summer.

Becca Nude Lip Liner: Ever since I was 16 years old, I feel like I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect nude lip combination. Finally, 13 years and many failed attempts later, I found the best nude lip liner! BECCA Nude Liner Plump & Define Lip Pencil in the color Nougat is amazing in that its 2 lip liners in one. One side is a lighter, peachy nude color to help highlight the top of your lip, and the other side is a darker buff nude to contour the bottom of your lips. Leaving you with a perfectly plump looking pout. Pair this liner with Hourglass Femme Nude #2 lipstick, and you will want to kiss yourself!

SmartMom- I came across the parenting advice app a few weeks ago and have really found it helpful. It’s basically a social, online community of parents and caregivers asking and answering each other questions. Every question you can possibly imagine about a child is asked here. It’s great to get insights and opinions, with no feeling of judgment! Plus, it’s FREE

Glass Teapot: I gave up caffeine about 4 years ago. But, I could never give up my caffeine free teas! That’s why I love this Sur La Table glass teapot, its super easy to use, makes incredible fresh tea, and steeps in no time. Ask anyone who knows, and they will tell you I make a pot of tea like an old British aristocrat….but my secret really is this teapot.

One Kings Lane: I’ve been on the hunt for a new rug. After countless hours of searching, just to be discouraged by lack of design or lack of money I have in my budget, I came across an amazing selection of rugs on One Kings Lane. They have an array of styles and a nice range of price points. One Kings Lane offers major discounts (30-70% off original price) in your home and décor needs, and always has great perks (like free shipping). You have to register to join, but you can click here for a discount code and receive $15 off your first purchase!

West Elm decanter with wood stopper: I love a good bottle of wine! For me, there is nothing quite like decompressing after a crazy day with a glass of my favorite vino. I’m always looking for fun glasses, bottles and decanters to use when I drink wine with my husband or friends. I recently came across these glasses with wood stoppers on West Elm. I love that they have a rustic feel to them, and can be monogrammed (because who doesn’t love a monogram!).
