Fruitful 4th of July Recipes + Holiday Sales

It's officially here, Fourth of July weekend!!! With the pools splashing and the BBQ grilles warm, I wanted to share some healthy fruit friendly recipes that you can also share with your family and friends this weekend! These are SUPER simple to make! A lot of the ingredients you may already have at home, or a quick 5 min trip to the grocery and you could have everything you need. All of these are gluten free, dairy free and vegan! See below to find some recipes that I'll be making this weekend!

These easy parfaits are an easy crowd pleaser. The best part is they take NO time at all to assemble, leaving you more time to enjoy yourself! It is completely up to you with what you serve these in, but I find glass mason jars give them a nice touch!

Easy Yogurt Parfaits

Plain Greek yogurt (or dairy free yogurt like coconut if you want a dairy free option)
Honey (optional)
Gluten-Free Granola (optional)

Layer your berries, yoghurt, honey and granola one by one in mason jars or small bowls. You can refrigerate them for a few hours to let the flavors soak in together.

This is a delicious punch recipe that all of your guests will love! Using a star shaped cookie cutter to cut the fruit adds a cute touch.

Sparkling 4th July Sangria (Alcohol Free)

3 cups sparkling water
4 cups cranberry juice
1 cup orange juice
¼ cup fresh lemon juice
1 punnet strawberries, cut in half
1 punnet blueberries
1 apple, cut into star shapes using a small cookie cutter
1 pineapple, cut into star shapes using a small cookie cutter
1 cup of ice
1 lemon, juiced

1. In a large jug or punch bowl combine all ingredients except the sparkling water and ice. Refrigerate for a few hours to let the flavours soak in.
2. Just before serving stir in the sparkling water and ice.

1 watermelon
2 pints blueberries
20 skewers

1. Slice the watermelon into 1/2 inch round slices, and then cut out star shapes using a three-inch star-shaped cookie cutter.

2. Gently slide the blueberries on wooden skewers* and finally place a watermelon star on the top.

3. Place the skewers in a tall glass or in decorated floral foam as an eatable centerpiece.

* If serving to young kids make sure they're careful with the wooden skewers.
