124: The Key to Navigating Health, Happiness & Balance — Elizabeth Rider

Do you wish you were able to commit to a healthier lifestyle, but you’re just not sure where to start? Are you desperate for more energy, less grogginess throughout your work day, and better sleep? If so, let me first say, I totally hear you.

Doesn’t it feel like achieving a healthier lifestyle is almost impossible? I know I’ve tried my fair share of fad diets and extreme exercise routines in the past but thankfully, I figured out a more holistic approach to a balanced, healthy lifestyle. Enter: Elizabeth Rider.

Not only is Elizabeth one of my closest friends but she’s also a master at breaking down how to achieve a healthy lifestyle in easy-to-understand, actionable steps. She’s also an incredibly inspiring business woman and online entrepreneur.

Elizabeth started her professional journey as a top performer at a Big 4 accounting firm, and from there, changed course and began studying nutrition and whole living, instead. She went on to build a six, and then seven-figure, online business based all around health/wellness and nutrition.

Over the years she has helped countless people achieve healthier lifestyles by crafting morning and evening routines that set them up for success. In addition to her super successful coaching biz, she was recently offered a $100K book advance (which is almost unheard of in the health space), for her amazing book, The Health Habit. I cannot wait for you to hear exactly how she did that during our chat today.

As Gabby Bernstein puts it, "Elizabeth has written the ultimate guide to holistic health! The Health Habit not only demystifies nutrition, but it also offers up practical and inspiring guidance on every element of well-being." I couldn't agree more.

If any of you have ever wondered how to get a book deal, how to market your book and how to share it with the world then this episode is for you!

In this episode, you’ll hear:

  • How most people set health goals incorrectly, which sets them up for failure from the beginning

  • The specific health numbers and biomarkers that every woman should know

  • Why the way you set up your home triggers how you eat (this is fascinating!)

  • The intangible factors that affect your health that have nothing to do with food (and why addressing these will make all the difference)

  • What publishing a book in 2019 and beyond really takes
